Take an opportunity of a lifetime - go deep to see things others can only dream about. Expand your diving horizons and experience depths beyond 100 feet.  I will teach you deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards.  You will put this knowledge to the test as you go on up to four open water dives that range from 60 - 130 feet.

Using his experience and advanced training, I will help you learn to plan, conduct and safely execute dives up to 130 feet and within no decompression limits. The course includes information on equipment considerations and configurations, special navigation concerns, buoyancy issues, emergency decompression procedures and environmental considerations of deeper dives. The course includes four deep water training dives. As an added bonus, I may also include charters or trips to remote dive sites.

From the Instructor Manual:

The Deep Diver course is to include four open water training dives, which are to be conducted over at least two days. The minimum number of recommended hours is 24, with time being equally divided between knowledge development and actual water-training sessions. After the training dives, student divers are required to log their dives in their personal log books.

The minimum depth required for open water is between 18 to 30 metres/60 to 100 feet, with no dive exceeding 40 metres/130 feet. The instructor is to insure that all dives are conducted within the no-decompression limits, with deeper dives being conducted first.

This course covers the knowledge, skills and techniques for deeper diving. To conduct a Deep Diver course, the following is to be included:

1. planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of deep diving
2. risk factors and decompression-tables review
3. safety stops and emergency decompression procedures
4. special equipment, descent lines and buoyancy-control considerations
5. procedures for flying after diving and high-altitude diving
6. orientation to recompression chambers
